On edge, not flat
Brushes lie on their thin edge, so gravity can't splay the bristles while they dry. The tapered pocket at the end holds the chisel tip in shape.
Orange fins hold it
Soft TPU fins grip the handle. Tilt the box, carry it to the truck, stack another on top — the brushes stay where you put them.
Wall, van or bench
Slots in the floor drain, the end walls vent, and boxes stack on their corner posts. Two screws through the floor slots and it hangs on a wall or in the van.
